FLT Driver & Warehouse Operative – Newport
Approx. 6‑week assignment (may extend to Christmas)
£13.30 per hour with weekly pay
We’re recruiting a reliable FLT Driver who’s happy to work across both forklift and general warehouse duties. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, well‑organised site in Newport with consistent daytime hours and the potential to stay on through the festive period.
Working Hours
August:
- Mon–Thurs: 08:00–16:45
- Fri: 08:00–16:15
September:
- Mon–Thurs: 08:00–17:45
- Fri: 08:00–16:45
What You’ll Be Doing
- Counterbalance FLT work – loading, unloading, moving stock.
- Warehouse duties – picking, packing, scanning and general support
- Following site safety procedures and working as part of a friendly team.
Licences Accepted – driving test requires on 1st day
- Valid FLT
- Expired FLT
- In‑house FLT (As long as you’re confident and competent on the truck.)
What You Need
- Previous FLT experience.
- Experience in warehouse tasks such as picking/packing.
- Good reliability and communication.
- Ability to work full‑time day shifts.
Pay & Assignment Length
- £13.30 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Initial 6‑week assignment with strong potential to extend to Christmas.
