FLT Reach Truck Driver Northampton

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an FLT Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Mandatory rotating shifts:
• 2 weeks AM: 06:00 14:00
• 2 weeks PM: 14:00 22:00

Applicants must be available to work both AM and PM shifts as part of the rotation.

Rates of Pay

• Basic rate: £15.12 per hour
• Overtime rate: £22.26 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating an FLT Reach Truck safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Moving pallets and goods around the warehouse as required
• Supporting general warehouse operations when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment xwwtmva
• Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

• Proven experience operating an FLT Reach Truck
• Confidence working within a busy warehouse environment
• Good spatial awareness
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A reliable and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of wareho
