TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Welsh-medium primary school in Monmouthshire that is looking for a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school provides a Welsh-speaking environment and is looking for someone who can confidently communicate in Welsh throughout the school day.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, working one-to-one with a child in Year 3. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will provide consistent classroom support, helping the pupil with their learning, engagement and development.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

Fluency in spoken Welsh Experience working with children on a one-to-one basis Experience supporting children within a primary school environment Strong communication skills A patient and supportive approach A positive and adaptable attitude In return for the above you can expect to receive:
