Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with overall business goals and consumer insights.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and merchandising for the assigned category.
• Analyze category performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal product sourcing and collaborative growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market plans.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to maximize profitability and ensure supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in category management or a related commercial role within the FMCG industry .
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies.
• Strong analytical, financial acumen, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and retail trends.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Office Suite.
