About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including shipment scheduling, tracking, and documentation for the Belfast region.
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to meet demand while minimising holding costs.
• Resolve any logistical issues or disruptions promptly to ensure uninterrupted supply chain flow.
• Process shipping documentation, customs forms, and other required paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, purchasing, production) to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within the Northern Ireland logistics network is advantageous.
