FMCG Merchandiser

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the FMCG sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join their team supporting retail partners in the Norwich area. You will be responsible for ensuring our client's products are displayed attractively and effectively in stores, optimizing shelf space, and implementing promotional strategies to drive sales. This role is essential for maintaining brand visibility and maximizing product appeal on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities

• Execute in-store merchandising plans according to company guidelines and brand standards.
• Ensure product placement, stock levels, and point-of-sale materials are optimally managed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with store managers and retail staff.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
• Report on store visits, sales performance, and merchandising effectiveness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a sales support role, preferably within FMCG .
• Strong understanding of retail display principles and visual merchandising techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product presentation.
