About the Role
Our client is seeking a vigilant and thorough FMCG Quality Assurance Technician to join their production facility in Norwich . This role is crucial for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching consumers. You will conduct quality checks at various stages of the production process, maintain detailed records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on position ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest product quality in the fast-paced FMCG industry, playing a vital role in maintaining consumer trust and brand reputation from our Norwich site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards, HACCP , and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Document all quality control activities, test results, and any non-conformances accurately.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for quality testing.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Requirements
- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and food safety standards (e.g., BRC ).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and testing.
- Good understanding of production processes and basic laboratory techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within a production environment and communicate findings clearly.
