FMCG Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role

Our client, a reputable manufacturer in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join their operations in Bradford . This role is fundamental to ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching consumers. You will perform various tests, inspections, and analyses to guarantee product integrity and safety. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest quality benchmarks in a fast-paced production environment located in Bradford .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Analyze test results and identify any deviations from specified standards, reporting findings promptly.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of testing.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records, ensuring traceability of all tested materials.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or in a similar quality control role, preferably in FMCG or food production.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles, testing methodologies, and laboratory practices.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and performing various analytical tests.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting data.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Relevant qualification in science, quality assurance, or a related field is advantageous.
