Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead the F&B operations for their esteemed hotel in Glasgow . This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting. You will manage inventory, staff, menus, and guest experiences to create a vibrant and successful culinary environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
• Manage and motivate the F&B team, including chefs, servers, and bartenders, ensuring high performance and excellent service standards.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive F&B revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms for goods and services.
• Create an engaging and memorable dining experience for all guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar senior F&B role.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Experience with menu engineering and event planning.
• Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene are essential.
