Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced and results-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to lead their bustling culinary operations in Sunderland . This role is responsible for managing the hotel's restaurants, bars, and room service, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests. You will drive revenue growth, maintain impeccable service standards, control costs, and lead a passionate team of culinary and service professionals. This is a key position within the hotel's management structure, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and financial success in the Tyne and Wear region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service.
• Develop and implement menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize revenue.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control for all F&B supplies.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are consistently met.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the F&B outlets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a senior F&B supervisory role within the hospitality industry .
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, menu engineering, and beverage management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems.
