About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Supervisor for their establishment in Reading . This role requires hands-on leadership to ensure exceptional dining experiences for guests. You will oversee daily F&B operations, manage service staff, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the overall success of the establishment. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for hospitality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily food and beverage operations, including service, bar operations, and room service.
• Manage and train a team of service staff, ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure efficient ordering and receiving of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the F&B department.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Assist in developing menus, promotions, and special event offerings.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
