Food Production Operatives

Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced food production operatives on a temp to perm contract for a well-established food manufacturing company based in Bellshill. The shifts are 4 on 4 off, 11 hour shifts. Start times can vary between 5am/6am/7am/8.30am. Location: Bellshill Shifts: 4 on 4 off 11hrs shift Time: 5am/6am/7am/8.30am start Pay: 12.89 Key Responsibilities: Ability to read and understand production plan Identifying and decanting raw materials into food containers Weighing out batches to agreed recipes and methods Knowledge of mixer settings/ensuring mixing procedures are followed Knowledge of rack oven programmes Ensure paperwork and records are accurately recorded Adhere to product spec and quality documents Boxing, labelling and palletising Ability to pack at speed of production line Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety Performance Measures: Production targets Quality Standards Quality of work Knowledge, Skills and Experience Previous food production experience Ability to work well with others High level or numerical ability Good verbal and written communication skills Good timekeeping Attention to detail Able to work to pace Flexible to cover other areas of work If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV or call option 1 Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
