Rate: £250£315 per day (DOE) Negotiable

Foreman Groundworks Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join an established groundworks subcontractor on a groundworks package in the Nottingham area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworks Foreman looking for a long-term opportunity, with the client having a strong and secure pipeline of work across the Nottingham and Derby areas.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the groundworks package, managing gangs and labour while ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily groundworks operations.

• Manage gangs, labour and subcontractors.

• Coordinate labour, plant and materials.

• Ensure works are completed safely and to programme.

• Maintain high Health & Safety standards.

• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and the wider project team.

• Monitor quality and productivity.

• Assist with resolving day-to-day site issues.

Scope of Works

The project involves a standard groundworks package, including foundations, drainage, concrete works, ducting, slabs and associated external works.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman.

• Strong background working for a groundworks subcontractor.

• Experience supervising gangs and site operations.

• SSSTS Essential.

• CSCS Card Essential.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
