We're recruiting an FLT Driver to join a well-established, global manufacturing business at its Penrith site during an exciting period of investment, development and growth.

The shift pattern...

This position operates on a three-week rotating shift pattern:

🕕 Week 1: Mornings – 6am to 2pm 🕑 Week 2: Backs – 2pm to 10pm 🕙 Week 3: Nights – 10pm to 6am The pattern then repeats.

You must be able to work ALL THREE shifts. The shift pattern is non-negotiable.

💷 Earn up to £15.59 per hour – equivalent to £32,427 per annum based on the highest shift rate and a 40-hour week.

What will you be doing?

Working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment, you'll play an important role in keeping materials and production moving safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating an FLT safely around the site Loading and unloading materials Moving stock and materials throughout the facility Supplying production areas with materials as required Moving finished goods into designated storage areas Carrying out routine equipment and safety checks Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely Supporting general warehouse and production activities when required Following all site health & safety proceduresWhat are we looking for?

Previous FLT experience is required and, ideally, you'll hold a current, in-date RTITB-accredited FLT licence. You'll also need to be:

Able and willing to work the full three-shift rotation Confident operating an FLT within a busy environment Safety-conscious and responsible Reliable with excellent timekeeping Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team Flexible and willing to support other areas of the operation Positive, practical and willing to learnMore than just an FLT job...For the right person, this is an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a major global organisation and potentially build a long-term career.
