Counterbalance Forklift Driver - Stoke-On-Trent / ST6
40 Hours Per Week - £13.00 per hour
Forklift Driver - Temporary – Permanent
*** Immediate Starts Available for the Forklift Driver role***
This role is based within a busy chemical waste yard environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting general yard duties. This is an outdoor role, so candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Duties for the Forklift Driver role:
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Moving and organising chemical waste materials around the yard
* Ensuring all materials are stored correctly and safely
* Following strict health and safety procedures due to the nature of the products
* Supporting general yard duties as required
* Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
* Working as part of a team to meet operational targets
Experience for the Forklift Driver role:
* Must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance Forklift Licence
* Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck is essential
* Experience working within a yard or industrial environment is beneficial
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Happy to work on rotating shifts
* Awareness of health and safety procedures
* Reliable, punctual
Shift Patterns Available for the Forklift Driver role:
8am - 5pm After taken permanent you will be required to be able to work Rotating shifts
