Forklift Engineer

Location: Mansfield Salary: £38,000-£40,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Job Type: Permanent

The Role

We are working with a well-established, family-run material handling business that is looking for an experienced Workshop Forklift Engineer to join their team in Mansfield.

This is a hands-on workshop role working on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Key Duties

Service and repair forklift trucks Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Work on electric, diesel and LPG equipment Carry out planned maintenance and inspections Fault-find and complete repairs Complete service paperwork Maintain a clean and safe workshop Work to company health & safety procedures

About You

Ideally, you will have:

Previous forklift or material handling experience Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Good hydraulic and diagnostic skills Experience with electric, diesel or LPG equipment A reliable and professional approach The ability to work independently and as part of a teamHeavy Plant, Agricultural, Powered Access, HGV or Automotive Engineers with transferable skills will also be considered.

The Package
