Job Description
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Duxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a fast-paced environment, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials and finished goods across the warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Supplying materials to production and packing departments.
- Collecting and storing finished goods.
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory.
- Operating Forklift
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
- Following all health and safety procedures and promoting a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid RTITB Counterbalance and Reach forklift licences (VNA experience is desirable but not essential).
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good English and numeracy skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- A reliable, proactive team player with a positive attitude.
What’s in it for You
- £14.50 per hour.
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Weekly rotating shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm.
