Forklift Service Engineer

Location: Coventry
Salary: From £34,000 per annum - £40,000 depending on Experience
Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Our client is a well established, material handling business providing a comprehensive range of forklift solutions, including hire, sales, servicing, repairs, breakdown support and parts. With a strong reputation for reliable customer service and highly trained engineers, they support businesses across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Forklift Service Engineer to join their team, covering customers across Coventry, Leicester, Northampton, Oxford and Derby.

Forklift experience is desirable, but candidates with relevant experience working on similar heavy machinery or material handling equipment will also be considered.

As a Forklift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.

Forklift Service Engineer Responsibilities Will Include:

Carrying out planned servicing and routine maintenance on forklift trucks and associated equipment.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

Responding to customer breakdowns and carrying out effective fault-finding and repairs. xwwtmva

Replacing parts, making adjustments and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
