Our client is a successful adhesives manufacturer.

They are now seeking a Formulation Chemist Research and Development . This position will be based at their site in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. It is a full-time permanent role and will report to their Head of R&D

Job Purpose

My client is looking for an experienced Formulation Chemist who is looking to develop innovative products for the construction sector.

They are looking for a practical, technically confident chemist to join their Research and Development team in their R&D Laboratory to support their range of dispersion adhesives, cement-based adhesives, grouts and levelling compounds.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, managing varied technical projects and working closely with both technical and non-technical teams to bring new and improved products to market.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise formulations to meet performance, cost, sustainability, health and safety, and project timeline requirements. xwwtmva

Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing, working closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing and Technical teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant chemistry / scientific discipline or equivalent (or membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry)

Experience formulating products for the construction or similar sector

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and pr
