Job Description
Right Now Group are recruiting for a Freight Administrator to join a fast-paced freight forwarding company based in Egham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to work in a dynamic, international logistics environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Air Freight, you will provide key support with daily tasks including travel arrangements, invoicing, CASS queries, and post-flighting. Freight experience is not required - full training will be provided - but a proactive, organised approach and confidence handling administrative tasks are essential.
Key Responsibilities - Freight Administrator
- Provide direct administrative support to the Head of Air Freight
- Book flights and make travel arrangements for management
- Assist with post-flighting activities, ensuring accurate documentation and records following shipment departures
- Support with basic invoicing and help manage CASS billing queries
- Maintain internal systems and update shipment information accurately
- Organise, file, and archive documentation for compliance and audit readiness
- Handle email correspondence and assist with reporting or small project tasks as needed
Experience & Skills Required - Administrator
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role (any sector)
- Strong attention to detail, especially with data entry and document handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Organised and methodical approach to managing tasks and priorities
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive team player with a willingness to learn about freight and logistics
- Able to maintain confidentiality and work professionally with senior staff
Salary & Working Details - Administrator
- Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
- Shift: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 09:00 - 17:30
