I am delighted to be working with a leading Freight Forwarding company with over 30 years expertise in their field. Due to growth within the business, I am seeking for a Sea Freight Forwarder (Imports) to join their team on a permanent basis

About you

• Previous experience of working within a Freight Forwarding role
• Proficient with MS Office

Duties

• Communicate and work with sea freight partners
• Handle enquiries by phone, email and face to face with customers and suppliers
• Handle export of goods
• Make bookings on CRM system
• Communicate with stakeholders ensuring that they are aware of the status of their goods
• See shipments through from start to finish
• Deal with documentation
• Arrange import shipments with various carriers to worldwide destinations.
• Arrange collections with our selected Transport/Liner Shipping Companies.
• Handle order traces, issuing Bills of Lading, Invoices
• Other adhoc duties
