About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and service-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to lead their reception team, working remotely. This role is crucial for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, and ensuring a seamless and positive first and last impression for guests. You will be responsible for supervising the front desk operations, training staff, and maintaining high standards of service excellence from a remote capacity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at using hotel management systems to manage guest services effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and courteous service.
- Train, mentor, and support front desk agents to ensure adherence to service standards and hotel policies.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone, email, and online chat, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Oversee room availability and manage room assignments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
- Generate daily reports on front desk activities, occupancy, and revenue.
- Implement and maintain service standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or reception role, with experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
- Strong understanding of front office operations and guest service principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team remotely.
