About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Frontend Developer specializing in React to join their vibrant team in Glasgow . This role focuses on building intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces for their cutting-edge web applications. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to translate visual concepts into high-quality, functional code. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user-facing features using React.js and associated libraries.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, translating them into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate effectively with backend developers to integrate APIs and manage data flow.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and robustness of the frontend codebase.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architectural discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing React projects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and routing.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
