Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join their innovative team in Sunderland . You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code, producing the visual elements of the application. You'll work closely with the UI/UX designer and the backend development team to ensure seamless integration and deliver a high-quality user experience. This role is perfect for a developer who is dedicated to creating clean, efficient, and responsive web interfaces and is keen to contribute to exciting digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern HTML , CSS , and JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
• Work with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, participating actively in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user experience across all devices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in HTML5 , CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
