About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and skilled Frontend Developer to join their growing technology department in Sunderland . You will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code, producing the visual elements of the application. This role requires a keen eye for design and a passion for creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces. You'll work closely with backend developers and product managers to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications that provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML , CSS , and JavaScript .
- Implement complex UI features using modern frontend frameworks like React , Angular , or Vue.js .
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide input on design decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend development practices.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI development skills.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React , Angular , or Vue.js ).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git .
