The Opportunity

Wood Veterinary Group is recruiting Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons to join its recently redeveloped RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital and Emergency Services Clinic in Gloucester. Following completion of a major hospital refurbishment in November 2024, the practice offers modern facilities, advanced diagnostics, and the support of a large multidisciplinary veterinary team.

• Large Small Animal Hospital with 20-vet team

• 4 operating theatres
• Dedicated dental suite

• New CT scanner
• In-house laboratory with dedicated technicians

Support from certificate holders and vets with varied clinical interests

Dedicated on-site OOH team providing 24-hour patient care

Excellent progression opportunities within a hospital environment

Hours: 40 hours per week

Full-time and part-time applications welcomed

Open to all experience levels

Primarily based at the main hospital, with potential branch consulting

Time off in lieu provided

No out-of-hours requirement
