Full Stack Developer - Blockchain Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with a passion for the Crypto & Blockchain space to join their team in Derby . You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of their web applications, with a specific focus on integrating blockchain functionalities. This role requires a developer who can build user-friendly interfaces and robust server-side logic, ensuring seamless interaction with decentralized technologies. The ideal candidate is adept at modern web development frameworks and has a foundational understanding of blockchain concepts, eager to contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code.
• Integrate front-end and back-end services with blockchain networks using web3 libraries and APIs.
• Write and test smart contracts or collaborate with smart contract developers to ensure smooth integration.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JavaScript framework.
• Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and API design.
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts is essential.
• Experience with web3.js, ethers.js, or similar blockchain interaction libraries is a significant plus.
