About the Role
Our client is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer with a specialization in JavaScript to join their innovative IT and Software team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to exciting projects from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced digital environment and is passionate about leveraging modern JavaScript technologies to build high-performance, scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Build and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js, Express.js, or similar technologies.
- Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack, ensuring responsiveness and performance.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services and databases.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, functional code.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on JavaScript technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework.
- Solid understanding of Node.js and experience building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting .
