About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Full Stack Developer to join their thriving technology department in Southampton . You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation and deployment of both frontend and backend systems. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys tackling diverse challenges and contributing to end-to-end product development. You will work within a collaborative team, leveraging modern technologies to build scalable and robust applications that meet user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications.
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and APIs.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across the full stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js , Python (Django/Flask) , or Java.
- Strong experience with frontend technologies including React , Angular, or Vue.js, and associated libraries.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
