About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Full Stack Developer to join their expanding technology team in Sunderland . This role offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular .
- Design and implement scalable server-side logic and APIs using languages such as Node.js or Python .
- Manage and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX designs into functional features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, participating actively in code reviews and team discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues across the full application stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development .
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks.
- Strong experience with backend development, including RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of software development best practices, particularly within a Sunderland based team.
