About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack Developer to join their innovative technology department based in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working across the entire stack, from user interface implementation to database management and server-side logic. You will contribute to building responsive, user-friendly interfaces and robust, scalable back-end systems, playing a key part in the development of new features and the improvement of existing functionalities in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user-facing features using modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code using frameworks like Node.js, Python/Django, or Ruby on Rails.
- Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and databases.
- Design and manage database schemas and optimize database performance (SQL/NoSQL).
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of application issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in front-end JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js .
- Strong experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails).
- Solid understanding of database design and management , including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
