About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic software development team in Wolverhampton . This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, from database design and backend services to user interface development. You will play a key part in building and enhancing our web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys tackling diverse challenges and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle within the Wolverhampton region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data flow between the front-end and back-end.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) and associated frameworks.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and cloud platforms is a plus.
