About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team in Brighton . This role offers the exciting opportunity to work across the entire application stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases. You will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying features for our innovative products, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers. We are looking for a proactive individual with a passion for creating robust, user-friendly applications and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs using technologies like Node.js or Python (Django/Flask).
- Work with databases, including designing schemas and writing efficient queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Collaborate with the team to define software architecture and make technical decisions.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, participating in code reviews to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, ensuring smooth application performance and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer .
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience with back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails).
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Understanding of version control systems like Git and experience with agile development methodologies.
