Job Description
- Work with a team of engineers and collaborate with colleagues globally
- Responsible for the software development lifecycle of the changes you implement
- Remediation working to tight deadlines to turn around small incremental fixes quickly and safely
- Assist Operations with remediation efforts through tooling and building upon existing capabilities
- Liaise with Asset Class IT teams to improve the quality of the input data and protect the TTR solution from absorbing workaroundscomplexity
- Working within a POD with a defined charter
Skills required
- 5 years experience in java development
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Selfmotivated person who is enthusiastic and has proven fast learning capability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements
- Proactive approach to identifying issues presenting solutions and options
- Familiar with DevOps concepts and SRE
- Strong problem solving skills with a proven track record of delivery
- Continuous Integration Build processes
What additional skills will be good to have
- Environment Change and Release Management background
- Software Configuration Management Branching Version Control
- Knowledge of Microservices based architecture and patterns
- Knowledge of cloud concepts and cloud architecture different types of cloud computing preferably GCP
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts tools like GitHubJenkins Jira Confluence
- Experience using the following technologies git Jira
- Understanding of Google SRE practices and concepts
- Regulatory Reporting experience
