About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Full Stack Engineer to join their growing technology team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is integral to developing and enhancing both the client-facing interfaces and the underlying server-side logic of their core products. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end services.
- Design and implement robust APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Optimize application performance, database interactions, and overall system efficiency.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and team collaboration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in both front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a framework like React or Vue) and back-end languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and understanding database design.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and CI/CD principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
