Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Full Stack Engineer to join their growing technology team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is integral to developing and enhancing both the client-facing interfaces and the underlying server-side logic of their core products. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about building efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end services.
• Design and implement robust APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
• Optimize application performance, database interactions, and overall system efficiency.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high standards of code quality and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in both front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a framework like React or Vue) and back-end languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and understanding database design.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and CI/CD principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
