Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Full Stack Engineer to contribute to their dynamic development team in Bristol . You will be involved in all aspects of the web development lifecycle, from designing and developing user-facing elements to building robust backend services. This hybrid role allows for a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, offering the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact a wide user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable database schemas and queries.
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
