Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Java Developer , you'll:
- Build scalable front-end & back-end solutions
- Develop RESTful APIs & system integrations
- Participate in solution design, code reviews & technical discussions
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements & deliver effective solutions
- Support testing, deployment & release management
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Help modernise existing applications & reduce technical debt
- What we’re looking for
To succeed in this Full Stack Java Developer role, you’ll ideally have:
- Minimum 4 years' commercial Java/J2EE development experience (essential)
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE & RESTful Web Services
- Experience with React, Struts or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of Git, SVN & Eclipse
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Good understanding of unit, integration & regression testing
- Experience working with APIs & system integrations
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/UNIX or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) would be advantageous
- A proactive, collaborative approach & passion for continuous learning
