Functional Skills Tutor – OL13, Bacup, Lancashire
Location: OL13, Bacup, Lancashire
Hours: Part-Time | Weekdays during school hours
Pay: £25–£30 per hour+
TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to learners in Bacup.
The Role
Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills English and/or Maths tuition.
Plan lessons around each learner’s individual needs and abilities.
Adapt lessons to support learners with SEN .
Build confidence and support learners towards their qualifications.
Monitor progress and provide feedback.
What We're Looking For
1 year’s UK teaching or tutoring experience
Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths
Experience supporting SEN learners
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
What We Offer

£25–£30 per hour+

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
