About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Fundraising Data Analyst to join their team, primarily working remotely but with potential occasional visits to the Reading office. This role is critical for understanding donor behaviour, optimising fundraising campaigns, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making within the Charity & Voluntary sector. You will transform raw data into actionable intelligence, enabling the organisation to maximise its impact and reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large datasets related to donor demographics, giving patterns, and campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key fundraising metrics and KPIs.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving fundraising effectiveness and donor retention.
- Support campaign planning and execution by providing segmentation, targeting, and performance analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within fundraising databases and systems.
- Collaborate with fundraising and marketing teams to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on fundraising or marketing analytics within the Charity & Voluntary sector.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python/R).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising databases.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively, communicating complex findings clearly.
