About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet annual income targets across various channels, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and grant applications.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and prospective major donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and events to maximise donor engagement and income generation.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and funding applications, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
• Analyse fundraising data, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Inspire and manage a small team of fundraising staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of success and collaboration within the Newcastle upon Tyne region.

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in fundraising, with significant experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, or grant funding.
• Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
