About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Fundraising Officer to support their diverse fundraising activities in Oxford . This role is integral to securing the financial resources needed to deliver the charity's essential services. You will work closely with the fundraising team to implement campaigns, engage donors, and manage administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of fundraising initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns across various channels, including events, direct mail, and online giving.
- Support the management of donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Engage with donors through various communication methods, responding to queries and providing information.
- Help coordinate fundraising events, providing logistical support and assisting with on-the-day activities.
- Prepare fundraising materials, such as appeals, thank-you letters, and sponsorship packs.
- Conduct research on potential donors and funding opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fundraising, administrative, or customer service role is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an office environment in Oxford .
