Furniture Builder / Warehouse Operative – Manchester
A&G Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for one Furniture Builder / Warehouse Operative to join our client based in Manchester.
This is a hands-on warehouse role, with the main focus on building and assembling furniture. You will also help with general warehouse duties, moving furniture and keeping the warehouse organised.
Monday – Friday
£12.71 per hour plus holiday
Overtime: £19.07 per hour (x1.5)
Start: ASAP
Ongoing work
Main Duties:
* Building and assembling furniture
* Using hand and power tools
* Unpacking furniture and preparing items
* Moving and lifting furniture around the warehouse
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
* Checking furniture for any damage or issues
* Organising and storing stock
* General warehouse duties
* Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
* Helping with moving furniture and interiors when required
The ideal candidate:
* Previous experience building or assembling furniture
* Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
* Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
* Physically fit and happy with a hands-on role
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and hardworking
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
