Furniture Delivery Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated Furniture Delivery Specialists to join their team serving the Liverpool area. This role requires not only skilled driving but also the ability to handle, transport, and often assemble furniture in customers' homes. You will be part of a two-person delivery team, ensuring that items arrive safely, undamaged, and are set up correctly for the client. The ideal candidate is physically fit, customer-service oriented, and takes pride in providing a high-quality delivery and installation service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload large and often heavy furniture items to customer locations in Liverpool .
• Assemble and install furniture as per customer requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all items are delivered without damage and that the customer is satisfied with the placement and assembly.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and tools in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential challenges.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license; experience driving larger vehicles is a plus.
• Previous experience in furniture delivery, installation, or a related manual handling role.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail regarding product care.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer interaction skills.
