About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and qualified Further Education Tutor with expertise in both Maths and English to join their vibrant college in Norwich . This role involves delivering high-quality instruction to students aged 16 and above, helping them achieve essential qualifications in these core subjects. You will be responsible for lesson planning, delivery, assessment, and providing support to students to ensure they meet their learning goals. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching of Mathematics and English across various levels in Further Education.
• Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work, and assessments in line with national standards.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students to help them overcome barriers to learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience teaching Maths and English at Further Education level.
• Strong subject knowledge in both Mathematics and English.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
