Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and observant Games Tester to join their thriving, entirely remote QA department across the UK . You will be tasked with thoroughly scrutinizing game builds, meticulously documenting any anomalies, and working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues promptly. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing on assigned game projects, identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects.
• Develop and execute detailed test cases to cover all aspects of game functionality and design.
• Validate bug fixes by performing re-testing and conducting regression analysis to ensure overall game stability.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with developers and other QA team members regarding test results and defect status.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of test documentation and quality assurance standards.
• Monitor game performance and stability, reporting any degradation or critical issues.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Games Testing or QA role is essential.
• A strong understanding of game development processes and quality assurance best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
