Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.
- Perform regression testing to ensure bug fixes have been implemented correctly and have not introduced new issues.
- Explore and interact with game environments to uncover gameplay, graphical, and functional bugs.
- Provide clear, concise, and detailed feedback on game mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and design teams to resolve identified issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role within the gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of game development cycles and quality assurance methodologies.
- Proficiency with bug reporting tools and game testing software.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying subtle issues.
- Passion for video games and a broad knowledge of different genres and platforms.
