About the Role

Our client is searching for a diligent and quality-focused Games Tester to join their remote team. This position is integral to ensuring that all games meet stringent quality benchmarks before release. You will be responsible for meticulously testing game features, identifying defects, and providing clear, actionable feedback to the development team. Key Responsibilities

• Execute predefined test cases and perform exploratory testing to uncover defects in game builds.
• Accurately document identified bugs, including steps to reproduce, expected outcomes, and severity.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that bug fixes have been implemented successfully.
• Test game functionality, performance, and compatibility across various platforms and devices.
• Communicate effectively with development and QA teams through digital channels to report findings and resolve issues.
• Provide subjective feedback on game elements such as user interface, gameplay flow, and overall user experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Games Tester role or similar QA position.
• A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software and test management tools.
• Understanding of the gaming industry and common game mechanics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain focus in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
