Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough testing on various game builds, identifying, isolating, and documenting defects.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases and ad-hoc testing strategies to uncover bugs and inconsistencies.
- Report findings clearly and concisely, using bug tracking systems to manage issues through their lifecycle.
- Verify bug fixes implemented by the development team through rigorous regression testing.
- Contribute to improving game balance, usability, and overall player enjoyment through feedback.
- Collaborate with remote team members to ensure consistent testing coverage and quality standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Games Tester or in a related Quality Assurance role.
- Familiarity with different game genres and platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with bug-tracking tools like Bugzilla or MantisBT.
- Effective written communication skills for reporting complex issues.
- A genuine passion for playing and critically evaluating video games.
