Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is searching for a detail-oriented and dedicated Games Tester to join their thriving, completely remote quality assurance team. You will be a key player in the game development lifecycle, responsible for ensuring that our client's games are bug-free, performant, and provide an exceptional player experience. Key Responsibilities

• Execute established test plans and develop new test cases to cover all aspects of game functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects rigorously, ensuring that all bugs are clearly communicated to the development team.
• Perform load and stress testing to assess game stability under demanding conditions.
• Conduct playtesting sessions to evaluate game difficulty, player progression, and overall engagement.
• Provide detailed feedback on graphical fidelity, audio quality, and user interface responsiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual environment to resolve issues and improve game quality.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Games Tester or in a related QA role.
• Strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies within the gaming industry .
• Experience with common game development tools and bug tracking software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously document findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote collaboration .
• A profound passion for video games and a comprehensive knowledge of various game genres.
