Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Games Tester for a remote contract position. You will be a key member of the quality assurance team, responsible for ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality before release. Working from home, you will perform various tests, identify bugs, and report your findings to the development team. Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans and ad-hoc testing procedures on game builds.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using specified bug-reporting tools.
• Collaborate with remote development and QA teams to ensure effective bug resolution.
• Perform regression testing to verify that fixes are correctly implemented and do not cause new issues.
• Provide feedback on game mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience.
• Ensure adherence to testing schedules and project deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role.
• Familiarity with game development terminology and processes.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
